Staying at the Glenorchy Hotel is the ideal way to relax and enjoy our genuine Kiwi hospitality. Enjoy the comforts of one of our pleasant, old worldly rooms, with the choice of either full ensuite bedrooms, all of which have spectacular views, or a room with shared facilities. Our rooms are suitable for 1 to 2 people per room.

Glenorchy Backpackers Retreat
If you're hiking one of the many tracks in the area, our 'Backpackers Retreat' cosy cottage accommodation is ideal. Located adjacent to the hotel, the cottage comes complete with full kitchen facilities, showers, TV lounge, comfortable beds and log fire. Storage area for bikes, packs, etc is available, along with a washing machine and dryer. Queenstown Airport transfer is available upon request. Tent Sites
We have tent sites available located next to our Backpacker Facilities
Rates include full use of Backpacker Faclities,showers etc.

Complimentary car parking and luggage storage for Back packer and Hotel guests while walking or tramping.

Rates
The following rates are available:
  • Hotel Ensuite Rooms: from 105.00 per room per night sleeps two. Includes breakfast. Extra bed 40.00 per room per night.
  • Hotel Non Facility Rooms: 80.00 per room per night sleeps two.

  • Backpackers: Cabin bunk beds from 25.00 per bed per night.
  • Dorm Rooms: 30.00 per bed per night.
  • Twin Rooms: 75.00 per room per night, sleeps two in single beds.
  • TentSites: 13.00 per person per night, includes full use of backpacker facilities.

  • Secure Parking for boats and campervans on site

  • Campervans/Self contained vans are welcome to park at no cost if dining in our bar or restaurant
These rates are inclusive of New Zealand Goods and Services tax (GST) and are subject to change without notice. Please confirm the rate applicable at the time of booking.

Discount Cards

On the presentation of a BBH card or other hospitality and accomadation loyalty cards and discount cards our Backpackers rates are from 25.00 per bed per night.Please check at the time of making a reservation. Payment by Visa or Mastercard. The hotel has an ATM cash machine on site.

Full internet facilities are on site. We have wireless in every room and throughout the Hotel.

Hospitality

Take the opportunity to drop in and enjoy some terrific kiwi hospitality, our friendly team at the Glenorchy Hotel believe that life can get pretty busy so you have to take every opportunity to have a laugh, relax and enjoy some great socialising.

With our new chef on board creating delicious menus for theme parties, social clubs, weekends away, romantic dinners, or to just soak up the sun on the deck and have a lazy day. We are pet friendly, dogs are welcome at the Glenorchy Hotel.  

Our restaurant is open in both the winter and Summer. Functions are a speciality. We have a happy hour Friday and Saturday nights.
